_Rodarte_

_MYSTERIOUS FASHION_

_Sisters Kate and Laura Mulleavy came from Pasadena, California, to New York in the spring of 2005 . A week after arriving, they had shown their collection, tagged Rodarte after their mother's maiden name, to almost every major fashion editor and upscale retail buyer.  The Mulleavys labor over every detail of their meticulous, romantic dresses. They pile on soft flutters of pinked chiffon and intricate hand-stitching as well as other old-world techniques that call to mind couture. Still a relatively new label, Rodarte has scored the Mulleavys the 2008 CFDA Swarovski Emerging Womenswear Designer award, the 2008 Swiss Textiles Award, and quite an industry following, including Old Guard lions like Karl Lagerfeld and Christian Louboutin.

_Romance_Was_Born_

_MAKES YOU WANT TO BELIEVE_

_Former East Sydney Technical College design students Anna Plunkett and Luke Sales started Romance Was Born six years ago. The label has quickly earned a reputation as fashion Week’s show-stopper.
Romance Was Born's over the top embellished style, that could be likened to the works of Galliano, often alludes everyday aussies, However whilst 'turning the dreaded cultural cringe on its head' they still stay true to their roots, often referencing Australiana kitsch and collaborating with aussie artists.

_RECOMMENDATIONS_

_Inspired by design concepts from past and present, reworking traditional silhouettes, Michael Lo Sordo creates for the individual who appreciates effortless style with a unique, modern, design edge.

Michael Lo Sordo’s passion for natural fabrications and uniquely exquisite prints is combined with a focus on producing the perfect cut to create a stylish aesthetic. A strong background on textile design has made Michael’s prints uniquely exclusive to the Michael Lo Sordo label.

_Christopher_Esber_

_RESEARCH ENTAILS_

_Christopher Esber cleverly balances a modernized take on feminine dressing, through textile and cut, working with textile weaving specialists to create unique fabrics that are exclusive to the brand each season.
Esber’s approach is both logical and experimental and is constantly developing new ideas of fabric with treatment of shape. Creating modern-day options for women through experimental refined tailoring and off-beat pieces.
Collections are deeply inspired by his surroundings. With an attraction to the surreal, and elements that feel out of place, He has a tendency to capture these awkward yet strong energies and translate them into realised modern pieces.

“The collection carries day to night pieces, relevant to the needs of women with a work/life balance. They are mature women with strong personalities and appreciation for inventive fashion.”
